Double Direction thrust ball bearings of the series 522
Main dimensions according to DIN 711. Double Direction thrust ball bearings of the series 522 are suitable for high axial loads in both directions. Compared to the series 523, they have smaller dimensions with the same inner diameter and are dismountable.

Thrust ball bearings are pure thrust bearings, which means they can only withstand major axial loads. However, tiny radial forces can also be transmitted depending on the axial load and speed range.
Thrust ball bearings also include thrust deep groove ball bearings and thrust angular contact ball bearings. Thrust angular contact ball bearings can withstand lower axial load than similar thrust ball bearings but have a higher radial load capacity.
