Spherical Roller Bearings
TFL provides various types of spherical roller bearings: single-row, double-row, four-row spherical roller bearings, and other different structural types of bearings. Optional brands include: SKF, NTN, NSK, KOYO, TIMKEN, etc., or non-standard size spherical roller bearings customized according to customers.
Spherical roller bearings have two rows of rollers. The outer ring has a shared spherical raceway. The inner-circle has two raceways that are inclined at an angle relative to the bearing axis. This ingenious structure makes it have self-aligning performance, so it is not susceptible to the angle between the shaft and the bearing housing on the error or shaft bending. It is suitable for installation errors or shaft deflection caused by angle errors.
In addition to being able to withstand radial loads, the bearing can also withstand bidirectional axial loads. It has a high radial load capacity, especially suitable for working under heavy load or vibration load. Still, it cannot bear pure axial load. The outer ring raceway of this type of bearing is spherical. Hence, its alignment performance is good, and it can compensate for the concentricity error.
Spherical roller bearings have cylindrical and conical bores. The taper of the conical cone bore is 1:30 and 1:12. This conical bore bearing is equipped with an adapter sleeve or a withdrawal sleeve. The tapered inner hole self-aligning ball bearing can be conveniently and quickly assembled on the optical or stepper.
