Thrust ball bearings of the series 512
Main dimensions according to DIN 711. Thrust ball bearings of the series 512 are suitable for high axial loads in one direction. They withstand higher loads than axial deep groove ball bearings of the series 511 with the same inner diameter and are dismountable.
The special feature of this series
Thrust ball bearings are pure thrust bearings, which means they can only withstand major axial loads. However, depending on the axial load and speed range, very small radial forces can also be transmitted.
Thrust ball bearings also include thrust deep groove ball bearings and thrust angular contact ball bearings. Thrust angular contact ball bearings can withstand lower axial load than similar thrust ball bearings but have a higher radial load capacity.

- Separable and interchangeable
The separable parts of TFL thrust ball bearings are interchangeable. This facilitates installation and removal, as well as maintenance and inspection.
- Initial misalignment
Bearings with spherical races can accommodate initial misalignment.
- Interference fit
The shaft ring has a round hole for an interference fit. The hole of the bearing seat washer is turned and is always larger than the hole of the shaft washer.
Available brands: INA/FAG, KOYO, NSK, SKF, NTN-SNR, IKO, NACHI, TIMKEN, different suffixes are assigned according to their characteristics. Please pay attention to the bearing comparison table (see more information). In addition, to meet the special needs of the equipment, we accept bearing customization to meet your specific needs.
Application of Thrust ball bearings of the series 512
A thrust bearing is a rotating bearing that rotates between parts to reduce friction and is designed to support axial loads (mainly used in low-speed applications). It is the axial bearing that allows rotation between the parts.
