NU1016ECM C3VL0241 VL2071 Electrical Insulated Roller Bearings for Wind Turbines 80x125x22mm
Bearings used in electrical equipment such as motors and power generators tend to exhibit electrical pitting as a result of current leakage. Insulated bearings have been specifically designed to counteract electrical pitting. These bearings are available in ceramic type suited to a variety of applications. The insulated bearings Series is widely used in the traction motors of railway cars.
The common insulated bearings are cylindrical roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings. On the basis of ordinary bearings, ceramic coatings are added to achieve the purpose of electrical insulation, and some are resin coatings. According to the location of the coating, it is also divided into inner ring insulated bearings and outer ring insulated bearings.
Electrically insulated bearings can be divided into 2 categories according to different cages:
1. Steel cage insulated bearings adopt a special spraying process to spray a high-quality coating on the outer surface of the bearing. The coating has strong bonding force with the matrix and has good insulation performance;
2. Brass cage insulated bearings can avoid the impact of induced current on the bearing. The corrosion effect prevents the damage caused by current to the grease, rolling elements and raceways, and improves the service life of the bearings.
